God who goes before

Micah 2:13 “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them,
and the LORD on the head of them.”

In the above verse we can see the work of the Lord for his people. The verse clearly explains the blessings of the people when they are led by the Lord God. In other
words, it talks about how the Lord will lead his people when the enemy is coming against them. It talks about the restoration that will come to the lives of the
remnant people who faced struggles and were tested through hindrances. The people were trembled looking at the hindrances and temptations. The Lord God assures and
motivates them that he will go before them and break all the obstacles. In the lives of Israel who had lost all hope, the Lord spoke words of hope concerning the days
to come. Today, the Lord promises his children that he will go before them and will break all the barriers. We might have incurred losses, we might have lost a lot
of things in our lives but the barrier breaking God can restore and reform anything. Let us meditate on what will happen if the Lord God goes before us.

Breaks open hindrance

Micah 2:13 “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them,
and the LORD on the head of them.”

Here we see the Lord is named as a breaker who breaks all the barriers. When the Lord breaks open the hindrances, we can easily move forward. Due to a lot of obstacles
we might feel diffcult to progress in our lives. The Lord says he will command a great deliverance for all those who are stuck due to hindrances. The Lord who goes
before us is the one who broke down Jericho, the one who parted the red sea and Jordan. In the scripture, we can come across people who faced a few hindrances in their
lives and the Lord delivered them. We read in Acts 16:24,26,34 'Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in
the stocks. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's
bands were loosed. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.' Here we see Paul and
Silas were locked up and stopped from doing the will of the Lord. Althought they were tied up, they received a divine miracle where the Lord delivered them. They had
many hindrances in that situation but suddenly they received a deliverance. Also the other people at the prison were also rejoicing witnessing the deliverance. Even in
our lives, we might feel depressed due to a lot of things or certain thoughts might have disturbed us. In this year, the Lord will bring in a deliverance suddenly and
will remove all our barriers. We will rejoice in the Lord.

We read in Acts 12:11 'And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand
of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.' The Lord sends his own angel to rescue Peter. The angel of the Lord brings a great deliverance and
clears all the barriees. Peter receives a clarity. This year the Lord God will provide a clear picture concerning our future. We will not be confused anymore. The
Lord God will also reveal his plans clearly. The Lord will add a meaning to our spiritual run. The Lord will bless us abundantly and will give a hindrance-free future.

Goes before

Micah 2:13 “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them,
and the LORD on the head of them.”

In the above passage we read “The breaker is come up before them". This is mentioned in present tense in the passage. When the Lord goes before us, things will happen
in a different way. All our existing hindrances will be taken away we walk with the Lord who breaks the hindrances. We read in Joshua 4:7 '“Then ye shall answer them,
That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones
shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.” We see the ark of the covenant goes before the people of Israel. It signifies that the Lord's presence
is going before them. The overflowing Jordan river was coming against them hindering their way. The ark of the covenant parts the sea and breaks the deliverance. When
the Lord went before them, the Jordan river parted and paved way for the children of the Lord. We read in Joshua 4:23 “Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of
Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a
memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.” The Lord worked out the same miracle in parting Red sea and Jordan. The miracles that took place in the early times is
also following to take place in Jordan. Even in our lives, the miracles that took place in the times of our forefathers will take place in our times. The Lord will
work out greater miracles. We read in Isaiah 45:2-3 “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass,
and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places'. The Lord God will go before us and will
provide us treasures and riches. The Lord will remove away all the people who come against us as a barrier.

Guide as the King

Micah 2:13 “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them,
and the LORD on the head of them.”

We read '..their king shall pass before them..' Our Lord who is the King will go before us and will guide us. If the King goes before us, he will take care of all our
needs. We read in John 10:4 “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” Here we read the Shepherd
go before and the sheep will follow him. The sheep will clearly know the voice of his master and it will follow him. This year we will receive the experience of
receiving things from the King. We read in Nehemiah 2:8 "And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.” We will receive everything when we
follow the eternal King. Our Lord will give greater things for his children. We read in Psalm 24:7,9 'Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting
doors; and the King of glory shall come in.' All the closed doors will be opened in our lives, as the King is going before us. We will honoured in a royal fashion.
Amen.
