Promise message - 2022
Blessing of the high places
Habakkuk 3:19 'The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.'
In this new year the Lord will keep his children in high places and he will make them walk on high hills. In order to get this promise fulfilled, we need to change
ourselves like prophet Habakkuk. We read in Habakkuk 3:17-18 'Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive
shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.' When we read this verse, we can understand that prophet Habakkuk decided to rejoice in the Lord no matter what happens in his
life. The prophet was facing a shortage and lacks in his life yet he decided to rejoice in the Lord. We the children of Lord should sing praises to the Lord during
crisis situations. We can see that prophet Habakkuk recalled all the good things that the Lord has done for him (Habakkuk 3:3-16). Same way, we need to recall and count
the blessings that the Lord has given to us. In verse 17, he lacked certain things and in verse 18 we can see the prophet decides to rejoice in the Lord. The prophet
makes this decision with a great hope and he quotesThe LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high
places. Today, we will meditate on the blessings the Lord gave to the prophet Habakkuk.
Divine strength
Habakkuk 3:19 'The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.'
Here we see Habakkuk says 'The Lord God is my strength'. Habakkuk realized that he lacked strength and he proclaims that the Lord will be his strength. Habakkuk 3:17
talks about financial shortcomings in Habakkuk's life. There was a lack that was present in his life and the Lord gave his divine strength in order to move ahead and
also rewarded him. Even in our lives, we might be facing a lot of crisis and shortage, the Lord says the divine strength of the Lord will help us and will reward us.
As recorded in Philippians 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' This year will be a year of divine strength and the Lord will strengthen
his children to do everything. The divine strength of God will help us to restart all the things we discontinued last year. We read in II Corinthians 12:9 'And he
said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.' As prophet Habakkuk taught us, we shuld continue to rejoice in the Lord amidst of all our weakness. The divine strength will
heal our weaknesses and it will perfect us.
Divine confidence
Habakkuk 3:19 'The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.'
In the second part of the verse we read 'and he will make my feet like hinds' feet'. Divine strength of God will take control of us to overcome any hindrances. This
year the Lord will give us hope to overcome anything. We read in Psalm 18:33 'He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.' The Lord will
strengthen our feet and our body like that of a deer and give us confidence to accomplish anything. Last year, we were unable to overcome certain things in our lives, we
faced a lot of obstacles. This year, the Lord will give us confidence to overcome anything and everything in our lives. The Lord will make our feet like hinds feet
and will enable us to pervail with the divine strength of God.
Divine elevation
Habakkuk 3:19 'The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.'
In the last part of the verse, we read 'he will make me to walk upon mine high places'. The Lord who gave his divine strength and confidence, gives us an elevation. Many
of us are exhausted in our lives and we do not want to face certain things anymore. Today, the Lord promises that he will give us an exaltation. The God will enable us
to walk in blessings higher than the experiences of the fig tree, vine, olive, fields and flocks. When we make it a point to make a decision to rejoice in the Lord, we
will receive a divine elevation. High places are usually beautiful to look at but they are foggy and makes it very hard to respirate. Even in our lives, when God makes us
to reach high places, we might face certain diffculties or hindrances in our way. During those situations, the Lord will enable us to walk forward with ease. The Lord
will strengthen our faith and he will establish us. Amen.
