GOD’S FAVOR

Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. Ps119:41.

God’s favor plays an important role in our life. As a God’s child we need to depend on God’s favor to do everything and we should not depend on our own strength. As God’s favor is with us we are smoothly running our life. If you do not give the first place to God and our time (early morning), you are not asking God to take care of that day and you decide to face it by yourself. When you ask for God’s favor and surrender everything to Him He will take care of that day and He assures you a lovely day. When God’s favor is with you, you will shine forth as a sun and God changes every man’s wrath against you into favor.

1. SUCCESS:

And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. Gen24:12

Abraham sent Eliezer to go to his country and to his relatives to find a wife for his son Isaac. And in this situation Eliezer offered a prayer as above and wanted to show him a girl for Isaac according to His will. Rebekkah was a wonderful and lively young and beautiful woman. When Eliezer asked her to give him a sip of water she quickly lowered her jug to her hands and she gave him a drink. When she had done so, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels too, until they have drunk as much as they want.” She quickly emptied her jug into the watering trough and ran back to the well to draw more water until she had drawn enough for all his camels. A camel would drink atleast 100liters of water approximately. We read that there was 10 Camels were there with Eliezer (Gen24:10) so she would have drawn atleast 1000liters of water.

God listened and answered Eliezer’s prayer as God’s favor was with Abraham. Are you tired of your efforts and constant failures? Some trust in chariots and some in horses and some in man: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Yes pray before you do everything and ask Him to do according to His will and you will definitely hit it. God says, as you trust in Me: you will not be ashamed, None of your enemies triumph over you and you shall have good success.

I heard a man of God saying to me, “whatever I plan too much that will be a failure” but when God’s favor is there with you, there is no more breakdown and you will attain a grand success which is beyond your expectation.

Prayer: I intreated Your favor with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to Your word. For thou art the glory of my strength: and in Your favour my horn shall be exalted and shall have grand success.

2. PROSPERITY:

I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. Gen32:10

My aim was to become a business man and wanted to support God’s ministry in all ways, especially with money but God’s will about me was not that, He needed me. In 1987, I became dumb for almost three days and I could not even say amma or appa and not a single word came out of my mouth. Then I dedicated myself to God’s ministry and God healed me completely. It is by His grace today almost all over the world listen to me. Our program comes on Holy God channel France time 7pm on Monday, Indian time 10.30 pm and on local channels like Tamilan TV and J TV our message is being telecasted and we also have a live telecast in www.faithtv.in. It is all because of His mercies I am standing here before you today and preaching you. God has kept us in the center of His will. If you are ready to come inside God’s will you will prosper.

When we think of our past we could not be without shedding tears. Let us just think of our past and we know how God has lifted us up high. The place that God has given to you is the Jerusalem and whatever you do from there it will prosper and you will become a great band.

Prayer: Oh God, Like unto Jacob I came empty handed, make me a great band and lead me into your prosperity.

3. PROVISION:

And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. Exo3:21,12:36

If you read the whole passage you will understand the Egyptians who were troubling them did favour to them and whatever they required they lent it to them. It is because the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of them. Likewise who are all troubling you in your work place or in any other matters God will give you favour in the sight of them and through them God will do great things for you, what all you required He will grant that through them.

Prayer: Lord, You have prepared many things for me and I believe I am going to inherit it without any delay. I thank You for granting me what all I have requested.

4. GOD’S LIGHT:

And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD? For thy word's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. IISam17:19,21

The things we could see with our normal eyes is upto 10-15kms. His hand will lead you, and His right hand shall hold you. If you feel the darkness (burdens or sins) covers you; when you ask Him for His favour, He will change even the night as light about you and will bring you out of the darkness. If you do not have a clear understanding about anything ask Him, He will definitely reveal it to you and you will realize the light in your life. May the Lord shine forth in your life and give you a bright future.

Do not be afraid, Paul! You must stand before Caesar, and God has graciously granted you the safety of all who are sailing with you.’Acts27:24. Yes, because of you the Lord will protect the vehicle you travel. When we were on a trip to USA we went to view the Grand Canyon in a helicopter. There was an outburst of air and everyone could understand some unsafe thing is happening. But I know my work for Him is not over and He will definitely keep us all safe because of me and God saved us all. Praise be to God.

Prayer: God, You alone know the plans You have for me, plans to bring prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future I hope for so I know no one can hinder my blessing. Thank You Lord.

5. AUTHORITY:

And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me. Neh2:8

Supreme court has the most powerful authority in India. From such places God is bringing favour and a royal command for you to fulfill all your needs. You are going to receive the status you are looking for. I believe a surprise is waiting for you today as God’s favour is with you.

6. INCREASE IN HOLINESS:

Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. Dan1:9

When God’s favour is with you there will be an increase in holiness. Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope focused on Him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure).For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted. When God’s favour is with us He will definitely help us to overcome the temptations. I love this verse “Be holy for I am holy”.

Prayer: Lord, I am living in this sinful world. Forgive me my sins, for I also forgive everyone who sins against me. And do not lead me into temptation but deliver me from evil for ever and ever. Amen.
