Prayer Hearer-2

 PRAYER HEARER-2

Introduction:

Psalm 65:11 “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”

The above stated verse is God’s promise for the month of August which signifies a blessing of God in our life. We see our Heavenly father crowns us with goodness and our carts will be overflown with abundance. Every promise from God has some conditions for us to inherit it. We need to understand the fact that it takes time for every one of us to inherit the promises of God.

Psalm 65:2 “O thou that hearest prayer….” This verse signifies God as a Prayer hearer. When we remain truthful to our God by submitting all our wants and wishes, the Prayer Hearer will lend his ears to help us. Today we are going to meditate upon the blessings that our Prayer Hearer is going to give us when we believe in his name. But there is one single condition to inherit all the blessings that is we need seek our prayer hearer who listens our prayer and commands whatever we ask in his name.

I. Divine Zealous

Psalm 65:8 “They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.”

We see the people who live far away fear concerning the wonders that God does for his people. The people on earth will not dare to mess with the people of God because they know that God is with us and not only that they also know the fact that how terrible is the thing which God will do for his people. Today, our Lord God is zealous concerning you and me. Our God with his divine zealousness is going to take away all forms of evil weapons which is formed against us. The Lord says, ‘No matter who and what may come against you, I am zealous about you and I will break all the contraries and I will put your enemies in panic.’

At the same time, we need to be patient and silent when we are given into circumstances. We need to have a strong hope that our Zealous God will deliver us from all troubles. People are going to be amazed thinking on how God has elevated our life to a high level in a very short span of time. If people are jealous on us, it clearly symbolises that we have been filled with the heavenly blessings. Therefore, we need to ask our God who is a prayer hearer to give us this blessing, where God is Zealous concerning us.

II. Divine Mindfulness

Psalm 65:9 “Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enriches it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.”

What does our God do here? He cares for the land and water, as he enriches it abundantly. This very act of God brings out God’s Divine characteristic of being Mindful of all things. Are you in a position where there is nobody who could be mindful of you? God says, ‘I am the Lord who is always mindful of you.’  People on earth may not have time to take care of us or may not even visit us in times of need or even if they do, it may not be true and everlasting. If a person is mindful of you, it is not going to fetch us any good. But when our Lord God is mindful of us, he will not stop being mindful but he will supply all our needs and wants. Dear beloved, Do u lack anything in life? Any wants and desires? Ask to the prayer hearer who is mindful of you and he will do the needful more than what you can desire.

In today’s scenario, people are finding it difficult to care and visit fellow human beings. But we the Children of God must never fail to visit people who are helpless, neglected and hopeless. We need to give them a sense of being taken care of. As our Lord God is mindful of us, even we should make it a point to be mindful of others. Therefore, we need to earnestly pray to our prayer hearer to give us grace to inherit this blessing in our lives.

III. Divine Provision

Psalm 65:10 “Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.”

Over here we see our God drenches the furrows and levels the ridges, he softens it with showers and blesses the crops of the land. Our Lord levels the ups and downs in the furrows for the free flow of water to the crops. Same way, If God levels certain things in your life, do not question him. It is to water your dried life and to bless you in an abundant manner. At the end of the verse we see, God blesses the crops of the land which signifies the Divine provision of God. Today God has come to you as a Provider who fulfils all your immediate needs. Do not worry about the requirements you have or do not be sad thinking about your long-term needs and wants. God says, ‘I am the Lord who blesses you with my Divine provision and you will be satisfied.’ Henceforth, we need not be worrying about our finance and other demands, as the prayer hearer is going to bless us with his Divine provision.

IV. Divine Overflow

Psalm 65:12 “They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.”

In ESV translation of this verse we see, ‘The pastures of the wilderness overflow…’ Here our God commands a divine overflow in our lives. First and the foremost, we need to believe that God will give us a divine overflowing blessing. ‘Your financial position is going to multiply in abundance’, says the Lord. This blessing will not fulfil in selected parts of our lives, but in each and every single aspect of our lives. We will surely witness the experience of overflowing blessings in our lives. We need to seek our Lord almighty who is a prayer hearer, to give us grace to inherit this blessing of being blessed in an overflowing manner.

V. Divine Glory

Psalm 65:13 “The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.”

We see the meadows are covered with flocks and valleys are mantled with grain and they shout for joy and sing. We can relate this to the Divine Glory of God. Whatever we do, whatever we speak, wherever we go, we must glorify the name of our God. For instance, if we get a blessing no matter it is small or big, we should never forget to glorify our Lord God. Our God has called us to glorify his name in this world. God says, ‘I will do goodness to you, in order to make you glorify my name.’ Today, we need to ask God to guard us in his Divine glory forever. Let God’s Divine glory cover us to deliver us from evil traps of Satan. May the prayer hearer command all his divine blessings when we beseech his grace.  Amen! God Bless You!
