The blessings of the Holy Spirit 3

Zechariah 4:6 “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

As recorded in this verse, it is not by power not by might but the spirit of the Lord is able to complete all the things in our lives. People around us might have some predictions or forecast concerning the new year but when we when we submit ourselves into the hands of the Holy Ghost, he will make everything possible. This is the time of the Holy Spirit and also the time of revival. These were the days where the spirit of the Lord will bring in a revival on youngsters. Today, let us meditate on the blessings we receive when the Holy Spirit takes in charge of our lives.

Brings complete order

Genesis 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Here we see the spirit of the Lord moved upon the face of the waters. The Holy Spirit is not active only from the Acts of the Apostles but actively present from the beginning of the Lord’s creation. The Holy Spirit changes all the formless and void things wherever he is present. When we submit ourselves into the hands of the Holy Spirit, he will bring in all the modifications in our lives.  He will change all the contrary things in our lives. In Genesis 2:1 ‘Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.’ The Holy Spirit gives a completion to the earth which was formless. Today, the almighty God revamps our lives. While the Satan attempts to scramble our lives, the Lord almighty works in such a way to put everything in order. All the formless things in our families, our jobs will be given a proper shape by the hands of the Holy Spirit. The Lord God will give a fruitful ending to all the incomplete situations in our lives. We read in Genesis 2:2 ‘And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.’ The Lord completed his works and rested on the rested on the seventh day. When we turn back to see the Lord’s doing in our lives, it will give us a comfort and a perfect orderliness. The impacts of our bad behaviors will be changed by the Holy Spirit. He will make the consequences of formlessness will be changed by the Holy Spirit. As read in Genesis 1:4 ‘And God saw the light, that it was good.’ The Lord saw the light and he rejoiced that it was completed well. Same way in our lives, we will get a sense of satisfaction in all the works we do. In Genesis 1:31 ‘And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.’ The Lord felt that all his creations were created in a very good manner. This is the state of perfection. Even in our lives, we will attain a state of perfection that is desired by the Lord God.

Enables us to inhabit

Isaiah 45:18 “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

We see the Lord created the places which can be inhabited. It was formed exclusively to be inhabited. He reformed the earth that was void to be inhabited by the man. The Lord loves family arrangement which is why he formed the earth to be inhabited. The Lord will help us to serve and worship him as families. We see the Lord is able to make and create many things for our families. We should never be the one who is the hindrance to families. The Holy Spirit will change the uninhabitable situations to inhabit together. The almighty God will not remain calm looking at the things that are void in our lives. He changes and reforms void things to be inhabitable. We the children of God should pray together as a family holding hands. The Spirit of the Lord will make us joyfully inherit the blessing of inhabitation.

Beautifies

Genesis 1:3 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Here we see the Lord created the light on the earth. The Lord created light to drive out darkness and beautified his creation. By bringing the light, the Lord beautifies his creation. The Lord God created the entire earth in just six days and also decorates it. We read in Psalm 29:2 ‘Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.’ Holiness should be the one that beautifies his children. We should live with the splendor of his holiness. Also we read in I Peter 3:3-4 ‘Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.’ We the children of God should adorn ourselves with meekness and quiet spirit which is considered to be the adorning that never fades. Let us decorate ourselves with holiness to meet the Groom. Today, let us submit ourselves into the hands of the Holy Spirit to beautify us with holiness. Amen.
